Position Overview

The Spa Receptionist is responsible for, but not limited to booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, any Point Of Sales sales including retail, checking-in and checking-out all guests in a professional manner. The incumbent will take full responsibility for the tasks that is given to Spa & Fitness facility.

The Role

  1. Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa.
  2. Courteously interact and answer all spa and hotel related questions with guests.
  3. Assist various demonstrations and events.
  4. Manage all personal training bookings for Hotel guests
  5. Responsible for all administrative procedures to ensure that the spa is run professionally and in accordance with Health and Safety policy.
  6. Print confirmation letters and pull files for the next business day.
  7. Organize appointment scheduling to maximize use of time and profitability whilst ensuring that the clients needs are of first importance.
  8. Perform opening and closing duties.
  9. Prepare gift certificates and make pre-payment arrangements
  10. Keep work area clean, tidy and safe at all times.
  11. Maintain inventory of supplies for the operations of the spa reception

Talent Profile

  1. Have a thorough knowledge of the spa industry
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  3. Basic knowledge of computer programs including Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office administration, Internet applications, Telephone and Opera
