Job Overview

The Senior Catering Sales Manager oversees the catering sales efforts by means of initiation and development of quality leads to ensure growth of catering sales. Responsible for enquiries and site inspections, the incumbent ensures guests are provided with care, attention, support and assistance throughout their experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle enquiry calls and proactive in soliciting of new business
  • Handle bookings for social and corporate events
  • Conduct site inspection, support with selection process and entertainment
  • Maximise revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas
  • Supervise the execution of banquet events to ensure high standard of food, beverage and services provided to guests
  • Prepare catering sales related reports for management

 Talent Profile

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or a college education
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Catering Sales for an upscale hotel
  • Knowledge in Opera Sales & Marketing
  • Basic knowledge of AV equipment
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office; Words, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menu and food presentation
