Job Overview

The Assistant HR & Training Manager assists with administration and management of the Human Resources function such as training and the execution of employee relation activities, in order to provide each department with the personnel, guidance and support necessary to achieve their customer service and business objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the implementation, administration and monitoring of in-house training programs.
  • Coordinate, conduct and facilitate training and development activities
  • Work with corporate team to roll out training initiatives and programmes
  • Liaise with external training providers
  • Analyze and review current and proposed training programmes and offer recommendations
  • Update and monitor all training administration.
  • Direct and administer employee relations programs and activities
  • Manage submission of awards
  • Implement programmes and initiatives designed to improve employee engagement, eg: Teambuilding and Workplace Health Events
  • Champion CSR and Workplace Health Activities

Talent Profile:

  • Minimum Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or any related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR & Training from an upscale hotel
  • ACTA certified will be added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word & Excel
  • Meticulous with good organizational & time management skills
  • Knowledge of local training contracts and government initiatives
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
