The Assistant Spa Manager oversees the spa reception, reservations, retail and back of house areas and is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of Spa office, Spa Reception, retail shelves and other guest contact areas. Ensures that all charges for treatments and products and emails are handled efficiently, and develops and implements new spa concierge induction programs to ensure that Forbes standards are practiced at all times.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handles reservations and guests enquiries  
  • Handle guests' complaints and feedbacks
  • Maintain spa database of guest preferences
  • Calculate Service Charges, tips, retail commission daily and verify accuracy of guest charges and various hotel packages
  • Ensure operational flow and follow up on spa packages, special requests and VIPs.
  • Organize and conduct all spa concierge monthly training
  • Conduct all retail sales training within the spa
  • Creating an effective schedule that meets the needs of the spa
  • Oversee the retail sales and retail inventory management
  • Responsible for all guest supplies and non-product supplies orders.
  • Responsible for purchasing and receiving of spa retail inventory
Talent Profile:
  • Minimum diploma preferably in hospitality or spa
  • A thorough knowledge of Spa industry
  • Must have technical awareness and knowledge of a wide variety of Spa treatments and products
  • Excellent and effective communicator
  • Organised and keen sense of attention to details
