Position Overview

The Spa Reception Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all operating aspects of the spa reception including the arrival, departure, and reservations process of all guests. He/she leads the team of spa receptionists and therapists by example to deliver exceptional service.

The Role
A. Deliver Service Excellence

  1. Perform receptionist tasks
  2. Provide spa tours
  3. Promote spa services and products
  4. Deal with dissatisfied or disgruntled guests

B. Deliver Operation Excellence

  1. Document all guest requests and complaints
  2. Maintain database of guest preferences
  3. Communicate and escalate occurrences that require attention to management

C. Manage Self and Team

  1. Work collaboratively with others to deliver services
  2. Keep up to date with latest industry trends
  3. Assist in various spa operations as required
  4. Conduct monthly trainings and spa induction programs

D. Manage Hygiene and Safety Standards

  1. Ensure a conducive environment at the holding area as guests wait for their turn
  2. Observe personal sanitation and health practices
  3. Handle products and equipment in accordance with organisational hygiene and safety standards and procedures

Talent Profile

  1. At least 3 years of experience in a luxury spa or similar field
  2. Have good knowledge of the spa industry
  3. Detail oriented
  4. Ability to multi-task, and be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Team player
