Position Overview

Assist with administration and management of the Human Resources function such as training and the execution of employee relation activities, in order to provide each department with the personnel, guidance, and support necessary to achieve their customer service and business objectives


The Role

A. Learning and Development

1. Handle the implementation, administration and monitoring of in-house training programs

2. Coordinate, conduct and / or facilitate training and development activities

3. Equip supervisors and line managers with the skills and tools to mentor, train and provide job coaching

4. Monitor budgets and grant schemes for learning programmes


B. Organisation Development

1. Conduct organisational diagnosis to assess and analyse the current state and identify opportunities for organisation development and/or change interventions

2. Manage and facilitate student internship programme and initiatives


C. Relationships and Communication

1. Plan and execute communication activities using the appropriate channels/ tools for the targeted audience

2. Direct and administer employee relations programs and activities such as employee recognition and service award ceremonies, social functions and general hotel meetings to maintain a positive employee relations climate.

3. Manage submission of awards


Talent Profile

1. Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification

2. 2-3 years experience in HR & Training from an upscale hotel

3. Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills

4. ACTA/ACLP certified will be added advantage

5. Knowledge of local training contracts and government initiatives
